Q and A

I sometimes wish I could be
like Joseph

and receive answers to my questions
poured straight from Heaven
into an overflowing cup,
then gorge on words of comfort
served up in large portions.

I am not a prophet
called to lay out God’s feast
and invite the starving world
to come and eat,

but little ones like me
can still be filled
with crumbs that rain
from the Master’s table.
