Song of Ascents

Let us rise in the morning
in the name of the Lord,
pursue His work early and late.

Let us lift up our voices
in praise to the Lord,
set psalms of gratitude soaring.

Let us look to the skies
full of light from the Lord,
follow the mountain paths home.

Let us aim for the heavens
with prayers to the Lord
shot like arrows to pierce the veil.

Let us rise by degrees
to the house of the Lord,
take His hand and enter with joy.
